LA JOINER L. A. Joiner was born in Waycross, Georgia, April 28, 1949. He lived there until 1968 when he joined the United States Navy and served four years traveling in this country and overseas. In 1972, he committed his life to Christ after suffering a heart attack and experiencing the healing power of God. That confrontation with the Living God ignited a spiritual awakening that launched him into full time ministry. He studied for the ministry from 1973 until 1977, at which time he was ordained and began a ministry of church planting and church and ministry oversight which has grown to include a variety of churches and ministries in several different States. In 1999 he established Christian Alliance of Ministries as a way to help ministries and congregations reach their full potential. He also travels and ministers extensively here in the United States and abroad. His emphasis is establishing the Church of Jesus Christ as God originally intended it to be, a victorious, indigenous church extending the Kingdom of God throughout the earth. L. A. lives in Jennings, Florida with his wife Teresa. They have three adult children, Shane, Tarah and Tiffany and one beautiful granddaughter, Lucia.
