JACK HOLLIS Jack and Shellie Hollis are the founders of Associated Ministries Inc. (AMI) an Apostolic covering and oversight ministry. Jack has preached relationship and Apostolic church government for more than 35 years. It was because of recognizing (after 3 years in the ministry), his own need for a spiritual ‘father’ which he found in Ken Sumrall that he saw the need for more spiritual fathers in the ministry who could "pastor" the pastors and other ministers both at home and on the field. As Jack opened his heart to this ministry to himself, it wasn’t long before he felt the apostolic call on his own life and ministry. This precipitated the need for recognition as a bona-fide ministry, thus AMI was born. In the 1990’s he served under Ken Sumrall as Liberty Fellowship District Overseer for the tri-state area (N.Fla, S/E.Ala, S/W.Ga) for 4 years. When Ken Sumrall was ‘birthing’ CFN, Jack, L.A. Joiner, and Marc Limbaugh, were chosen by Brother Ken as founding members of CFN and all continue to serve on the Apostolic Council under Buford Lipscomb’s leadership. Jack teaches relationship as necessary criteria for functioning as a vibrant, life-filled member of the Body of Christ. He is convinced that if your faith is just between you and the Lord, and there is no "horizontal dimension" through which the Lord can use you to reach others, then there is no validity in the human side of your ministry nor your Christianity. Jack and Shellie still pastor the church they founded in 1969 and he has authored numerous articles.
